From New York City to Honolulu and Vancouver to San Juan, people living in North America need to hear the Gospel. At least 75 percent of the population has no relationship with Jesus Christ. Send North America is the Southern Baptists' response. This new strategy will move existing churches and individuals into all regions of North America to lead people to faith in Jesus Christ and start new churches.
Illinois Baptists have joined Send North America by choosing to focus our mission efforts on the Send Denver location. This western location is more accurately described as "Send Front Range." The Front Range of Colorado includes three geographic areas. It begins with the northern location of Ft. Collins/Loveland, central is the Denver Metropolitan area and to the south is Colorado Springs. These three areas include three Baptist Associations (Longs Peak, Denver Metro and Pikes Peak) each with their own church planting strategy. Five million people live in Colorado and approximately four million of them live in the Front Range area that extends 150 miles along the I-25 corridor between Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs.
