10th Annual IBSA Golf Outing: May 12-13, Oak Terrace Golf Resort, Pana. Monday: 1 p.m. tee time, followed by a banquet featuring guest speaker Andre’ Dobson. Tuesday: 8 a.m. tee time. The event (2 rounds of golf, cart and banquet meal) is $75. Single day of golf $30, or 1 day of golf and banquet, $40. Open to all IBSA pastors, church staff members, DOMs, deacons and church ministry leaders.
IBSA Disaster Relief Training: May 16-17, Broadview Baptist Church, Broadview. May 16: Chaplains at 1 p.m., all others at 5 p.m. May 17 at 8:30 a.m. training will be offered in DR 101, Chainsaw, Chaplaincy (if at least 12 people pre-register), Mass Feeding, Mudout, and Emergency Child Care. National Black Sunday School Conference: May 16-17, Emmanuel Baptist Church, Chicago. Jointly sponsored by IBSA, Chicago Metro Baptist Association and LifeWay Christian Resources. Mission Serve Granite City Project: July 20-26, Granite City. This construction project is for youth grades 6 through college and older. Cost is $240 per person, includes lodging, meals (except for the Wednesday evening night off), coordination, work site preparation and set-up, T-shirt, secondary insurance, worship speaker and praise band.
