Lake Sallateeska Baptist Camp is located 8.5 miles north of Pinckneyville on Route 127. There are 163 acres with 40 acres in the main camp area, 40 acres of recreation area and 83 acres in woods and nature trails. The 5.5 acre lake is stocked with bass, bluegill and catfish.

Facilities
-- Dining Hall: Capacity 200 in cafeteria style, banquet service for 100, fireplace, restrooms, heated.
-- Chapel: Capacity 550; sound system, heated.
-- First Aid Building: 4-bed ward, 1-bed isolation ward, nurse's quarters, office, waiting room, restroom, heated and air-conditioned.

Recreation
-- Basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, softball, miniature golf, hiking. Lake activities include boating, paddleboats and fishing. Year-round heated swimming pool.
-- Concession area: Snack bar and a camp store operated during the summer months.
-- Two Picnic Pavilions: Church and family picnic areas; Bar-BQ pit, wood provided.
-- R.V. Park: 27 sites with water and electric; dump station; closed Nov. 1 - Apr. 1
