The IBSA Missions Team vision is somewhat akin to that of the International Board but with obvious contextualization: We will lead Illinois Southern Baptists to be on mission with God to bring all peoples in our Acts 1:8 mission field to saving faith in Jesus Christ.  It is the intent of the Team to be intentional in addressing all four quadrants of the Acts 1:8 mandate: our communities and local associational regions (Jerusalem); the state of Illinois  (Judea); North America (Samaria); and the world (the ends of the earth).  This is consistent with obedience to the Great Commission as well.

So, what are leading people to do?  The process is threefold:

-- Missions awareness-awakening and educating

-- Missions equipping-supporting and enabling

-- Missions involvement-going and doing

 In other words, we are leading believers to:

PRAY→GIVE→KNOW→GO
