Camp Cook

We are seeking a cook to fill position of camp cook at Streator Baptist Camp.
We cook for groups ranging from 30-150 guests
Cooks will be responsible leading a team of volunteers and staff in meal prep, cooking, serving, and clean up of scheduled meals.
Cooks will serve during the summer camp season, with the option to cook for any weekend retreats that want us to cook during the rest of the year.
Cooks will be responsible for following all food handling and sanitations safety procedures.

Must be able to cook
Must be able to lead others
Must be kind and welcoming to camp guests
Must be able to take direction and arrive for work on time
Must be able to pass a food sanitation managers license class that will be provided by the camp
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be able to complete child safe training provided by the camp on the first day of work

This position has a base pay of $15-$18 an hour, but the pay can be discussed during an interview.
