Involve others.

Ask your missions committee or a mission-minded member to help plan and promote.
Set a giving goal.

Prayerfully set a generous offering goal or one-time gift amount. Consider your other missions offerings to help set a goal.
Set dates.

Place dates for your offering promotion emphasis, and week of prayer (Sept. 13-20) and promotion dates on your church calendar.
Create other opportunities.

Consider participating in a Mission Illinois Day project on Sept. 19.

Online giving.

Set up Mission Illinois as an online giving option.
Use digital promotion kit.

Use provided graphics in services and on social media in the weeks leading up to your offering.
Talk about it.

Compellingly tell your church what the offering supports and how their giving changes lives. Your support matters!
Make materials available.

Pray.

Begin and end the week of prayer with congregational prayer for Next-Gen missions and ministry during your Sept. 13 and 20 Sunday services. Promote daily prayer through social media.
Provide Faith Forward cards.

Kick off your offering emphasis by placing Faith Forward cards and Mission Illinois Offering envelopes in seats, in bulletins, or putting them in attenders’ hands. Printable bulletin insert designs are included in the digital resource download.
Show the videos.

If possible, show all four short videos (most under 2-minutes) that share stories of lives impacted through Mission Illinois supported ministries.
Celebrate.

Celebrate your church’s generosity by showing videos and using provided digital graphics to say “Thank you!”
