Matt Queen serves as Lead Pastor of Friendly Avenue Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina, as well as an evangelism specialist for the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. He has written several books, most notably Recapturing Evangelism: A Biblical and Theological Approach (B&H Academic, 2023), as well as co-authoring with O. S. Hawkins the 2023 Outreach Magazine Evangelism Resource of the Year, The Gospel Invitation: Why Publicly Inviting People to Receive Christ Still Matters (Thomas Nelson, 2023).
