DISASTER RELIEF TRAINING: LAKE SALLATEESKA

About:
Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief (IBDR) has more than 500 trained volunteers who serve as part of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Disaster Relief ministry, the third largest relief agency in the United States. Come join us as we bring help, hope and healing to hurting people.

Friday, August 22 (starts 12 p.m.)
Saturday, August 23 (8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
Price:
Current members are free. New members or those with expired badges cost $50 for 3 years.

- Chaplaincy (two-days) – begins at noon on Friday and continues until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday

- DR 101 (Online or In-Person)*
- Childcare (1/2 Day)
- Chainsaw (All Day)
- Flood Recovery
- Feeding
- In and Out Incident Command
- Resiliency during a Crisis
- Sharing Hope in Crisis
- Shower & Laundry
- Formstack/Reimbursement & more
- Assessment (must have been on Chainsaw/Flood Recovery callouts)
- Mini-track loader certification
Blue Hat Roundtable Discussion at 2 p.m. following trainings.
*DR 101 must be completed prior to participation in specialized trainings.
