Why was 2025 YEC cancelled? Unfortunately, unforeseen scheduling conflicts the same weekend with a large number of high schools statewide resulted in extremely low pre-registration for 2025 YEC. After much consideration, conversations with youth leaders, and prayer, the difficult decision was made to cancel.

 

Will there be a YEC in 2026? Yes! Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC) is in the planning stage for Fall 2026. Student groups can expect the same high energy, gospel focused worship and teaching they have come to expect from years of Youth Encounter events, only at an event closer to their hometown. For the Fall of 2026, IBSA is working with multiple local partners to plan one-day YEC events in regions throughout the state. Full details, locations, and registration will be available this spring, so watch your email and IBSA social media channels for updates.

Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC) is a 2-day youth evangelism weekend designed to reach students in Jr/Sr High School for the Gospel, deepen their relationship with Christ, and be sent out to do Kingdom Work in their communities.

Students will participate in worship, hear dynamic preaching, and grow in their relationship with Christ and others through student specific breakout sessions. Join us in Marion, IL this fall!
