WELCOME TO PRIORITY!

PRIORITY is the name for the ministry of IBSA that exists to connect and equip women serving in ministry across our state.

Whether you’re leading in a church, nonprofit, campus, marketplace, or community setting, you are part of a larger story God is writing through women who faithfully say “yes.”

Here you’ll find opportunities for connection, encouragement, leadership development, and practical resources designed to strengthen you for the work you’ve been called to do. Our heart is to cultivate relationships, champion one another, and create spaces where women in ministry can grow together.

1. GET CONNECTED

There are two great places to start in order to get connected and be aware of what is going on through Priority. 

First, We publish a monthly e-newsletter/blog highlighting various devotions, things to pray for, as well as upcoming events you might be interested in.

Second, we encourage you to like and follow us on Social Media. It’s a community of over 2,000 women. It’s constantly updated with stories and resources.

We offer 2 different leadership development zoom calls, each offered quarterly.

Pastor’s Wives:

Our Quarterly Pastors’ Wives Call is to gather women serving in this unique role.  Together we’ll engage real-life situations many pastors’ wives face and offer practical insight, wisdom, and proactive encouragement to help strengthen and refresh you.

This will be an upbeat, supportive space designed to equip and affirm you—reminding you that you are not alone in the journey and that your role matters deeply.

Women in Ministry:

If you’re a woman serving in ministry anywhere in our state, this space is for you. Our Quarterly Women in Ministry Calls are designed for women serving in ministry across our state who want to grow as leaders. This space is centered on strengthening you—your leadership capacity, resilience, and influence—not just the ministry you lead.

WMU (ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES):

National Woman’s Missionary Union resources help to strengthen mission leaders and promote missions education in the local church. We’re here to guide and support you—helping you apply these resources in ways that best serve your local ministry.

3. GET equipped

We offer two amazing events designed especially for you. 

The Priority Conference is where you experience worship and studying God’s word; equipping through educational breakout sessions. You will leave ready to return to your area of ministry reminded that they are not alone on your journey 

The AWSOM CONFERENCE is a student conference for girls in 5th-12th grades. There is solid bible teaching time, real world issues discussed in age appropriate breakouts, and authentic worship. We have a lot of fun and learn how to grow in our faith.
