Participate in a Mission Illinois Day project on Saturday, September 13! Join others in demonstrating the love of Jesus through ready-made, half day outreach and service opportunities. All projects are appropriate for any age and there is no cost to register. Families, churches, and youth groups are all encouraged to serve together!
Simply select one of our locations, pick a project that looks right for you, sign up, and serve on Saturday, September 13!
Or your church can create your own project for September 13 and let us know about it. Take pictures and share details on Facebook and use the hashtag #MIOserveday25 to let us know you are joining us!
MOUNT VERNON
The Salem South Baptist Association has coordinated several projects in their communities. Participants are encouraged to start the day at a kick-off celebration and prayer at 9 a.m. at Park Avenue Baptist Church (900 Park Ave., Mount Vernon, IL) and will finish the day at their chosen project location.

10 Volunteers needed to: meet at the Church at 9:00 a.m. They will assist this Church with an outreach to children with VBS. It will start at 10:00 a.m. and go to 12:00 p.m.

The Metro Peoria Baptist Association has coordinated several projects in the greater Peoria area. Participants will start and finish the day at their chosen project location.

8-12 Volunteers: We will be Cleaning interior of pantry, Some painting, lawn work, exterior work. Meet at Hidden Manna Food Pantry. They serve about 1000 people per year.

20 Volunteers: meeting at 9:00 am to brief and share prayer routes. They want to pray for people on every street, for schools, businesses, and places where people gather. After your prayer-walk you’ll debrief back at the church.
The Journey Church
