Coaching: A Vital Skill for the Associational Leader

One of the recommended proficiencies for the Associational leader is to be a supportive coach. Typically, this is a formal process, but the reality is only a few pastors and associational leaders will pursue this avenue. In this session, we will consider how to informally coach through conversations and relationships built upon the Gospel. We will define what coaching is and what it is not. We will explore the necessary techniques for coaching. We will discuss how coaching can serve pastors and churches.
